Transnational analysis of consumer motives, attitudes, behaviours and identification of consumer segments

The aim of this work package is to map consumer attitudes, motives, habits and behaviours related to the consumption or rejection of suboptimal foods in all the countries that are involved in the project. Identifying the underlying consumer attributes that determine food waste behaviour and the acceptance or rejection of suboptimal food is vital for creating effective strategies that encourage consumers to accept suboptimal food. Methods in this work package will include transnational focus groups and survey.
